Without notice and without liability to the caravan, CampBoss Off-Road Caravans reserve the right to make changes and or improvements. Where exact parts are not available, CampBoss Off-Road Caravans may instead install, supply, or remedy appropriate components and or parts of a similar or better quality, grade, and composition. Where necessary CampBoss Off-Road Caravans may at its discretion, use or approve for use, products and/or parts by replacing with refurbished goods of the same type rather than the repairing of defective goods or that such repairs may be undertaken with the use of refurbished components or parts.

Off-Road Policy
The CampBoss Off-Road Caravans range of caravans have been designed and constructed to give added strength, ground clearance and durability for off-road usage and enjoyment. While CampBoss Off-Road Caravans can handle off-road conditions, we make no claims that they are designed for tight, undulating or extreme 4WD tracks that are unsuitable for towing or trailers. Consequently, any damage that occurs from unreasonable or unsuitable use is not covered under the CampBoss Off-Road Caravans New Vehicle Warranty. Always remember, just because you can does not mean that you should and so the best and safest strategy in most instances, is to leave your Caravan at a base camp.

Additionally, even with most models in the CampBoss Off-Road Caravans range coming with Dust Reduction Systems, unfortunately due to construction and gas venting regulations we cannot completely limit dust and water penetration at all times should the caravan be taken over thick or long unsealed roads and under no circumstances should the CampBoss Off-Road Caravan be exposed to water crossings at, or above the floor level.

Plan ahead, having a good understanding of the current and foreseeable road and weather conditions. We find that tyre pressure adjustment and tyre type is paramount to safety and caution in all types of off-road travel and needs to be monitored vigilantly according to the conditions you are traversing – this needs to be for both the tow vehicle and the caravan and also abidance to towing guidelines for both vehicles and will require various adjustments when navigating between on-road and off-road. We strongly recommend towing at a safe speed (even reduced in certain situations) and at an appropriate braking distance always, with extra care and attention required particularly on unsealed, uneven or rough surfaces.

Display, Factory Seconds, Ex-Demonstration and Damaged Goods
Occasionally and from time to time, we may offer for sale items marked as “Display”, “Factory Seconds”, “Ex-Demonstration” or “Damaged”. The CampBoss Off-Road Caravans New Vehicle Warranty does not apply to any goods sold under these markings. In the event that CampBoss Off-Road Caravans offers for sale items deemed to be “Factory Seconds” or “Damaged” these items are sold on an “as is” basis. There are no warranties, refunds, credits exchanges or similar associated with such items. In the sale of such items, CampBoss Off-Road Caravans will endeavour to provide all relevant information regarding the item, including faults, defects or similar, however, there may be instances where minor defects or imperfections have been overlooked or are not apparent at the time. This is in no way intentional and therefore in no way alters the nature of the sale. It is therefore reasonable to expect that some imperfections or flaws may exist even where it is not initially apparent or noticeable. By the purchase of such an item, you agree to this statement in full and accept that there are no warranties implied or expressed.

On the sale of “Display” or “Ex-Demonstration” items, such items will often come with warranty as per the CampBoss Off-Road Caravans New Vehicle Warranty but due to the nature of such an item, it is reasonable to expect that some imperfections or flaws may exist even where it is not initially apparent or noticeable. In the sale of such items, CampBoss Off-Road Caravans will endeavour to provide all relevant information regarding the item, including faults, defects or similar, however, there may be instances where minor defects or imperfections have been overlooked or are not apparent at the time. This is in no way by intention and therefore in no way alters the nature of the sale. It is also therefore reasonable to expect that some imperfections or flaws may exist even where it is not initially apparent or noticeable. By the purchase of such an item, you agree to this statement in full and accept that there are no warranties implied or expressed for issues (in particular cosmetically) that do not impact the overall function and use of the product.
We do not make any representations as to the quality or fitness of any goods sold on these bases, and it is a term of the contract for the purchase of any such goods that the customer has made their own enquiries, inspections and due diligence and relies exclusively upon those enquiries, inspections and due diligence in deciding to make that purchase. If any warranty duration is expressed on the Sales Invoice to goods sold while marked as “Factory Seconds”, “Damaged”, “Display” or “Ex-Demonstration”, then those warranties will apply the standard for a product with those markings, which will be a lower standard than that for a product sold as new. If you purchase a product with these markings, you acknowledge that the reduced price for the product reflects that some claims will not be available which would have been for a product marked as new.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Responsibilities of the Owner
As the new owner of a CampBoss Off-Road Caravans vehicle, you are responsible for the appropriate, regular and proper maintenance as outlined in the Maintenance and Service Sections in the Owner’s Manual. This will help prevent problems and conditions arising from neglect that are not covered by your CampBoss Off-Road Caravans New Vehicle Warranty. It is very important that you read and understand all instructions, precautions and recommendations before using/operating the caravan. Even if you are experienced, we encourage you to thoroughly read the Owner’s Manual as well as other relevant accessories, equipment and component manuals.

Please note that the CampBoss Off-Road Caravans New Vehicle Warranty is not deferrable or transferable to any subsequent owner.
At the time of handover from CampBoss Off-Road Caravans our Warranty Officer will log your information and connect your purchase details to your caravan’s VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). This enables us to identify your caravan for any required warranty repairs. Please do keep original purchasing documents as you may still be asked to provide this during any warranty claim process. If a problem arises, please contact the Warranty Officer at CampBoss Off-Road Caravans to discuss any issues, arrangements or to make an appointment.

The CampBoss Off-Road Caravans New Vehicle Warranty does not cover costs associated with transport or recovery of the caravan. If a claim is made under warranty, it is your responsibility to bring the caravan back to CampBoss Off-Road Caravans Headquarters for a full assessment. Where directed during a warranty claim process, you must make the caravan available to the Warranty Officer or their assigned representative, Authorised CampBoss Off-Road Caravans Dealer or Authorised Service Agent or Authorised Repairer for inspection and testing. If such inspection and testing finds no defect in the caravan or that the fault is not warranty related, you must pay the Dealer, Service Agent or Repairer’s usual costs of service work and testing.

Given the nature of a caravan, you will bear the costs of transporting the caravan to and from CampBoss Off-Road Caravans Headquarters, Dealer, Agent or Repairer. You must deliver the caravan to one of the abovementioned where directed, during business hours at an agreed time. If you are not in an area covered by an Authorised Agent or Authorised Repairer, work will only be carried out in an Authorised Workshop after prior written approval from CampBoss Off-Road Caravans Warranty Officer, and only when the Warranty Officer agrees to quote/s provided. You may be required to get additional quotes if the quotes obtained and provided were unreasonable or contain items or services not covered under warranty. Once the repair is approved by CampBoss Off-Road Caravans and the repair work is completed, payment to the repairer could be required from the customer. If so, you should claim reimbursement from CampBoss Off-Road Caravans by forwarding the repairer’s invoice with your vehicle VIN noted, your full up to date contact details and the receipt for payment. All aspects whether warrantable or not, prompt and detailed reporting of problems is essential.

If a problem or fault is found, you must prevent any further damage or deterioration where it is reasonable to do so. Please do not delay filing your warranty claim as CampBoss Off-Road Caravans will not accept damage arising from not having faults attended to in a timely manner.

Organising a Repair or Service
To ensure CampBoss Off-Road Caravans or an Authorised Dealer delivers the great experience and level of service you expect, we make these suggestions for you to pave the way for a smooth process:

➢  Contact CampBoss Off-Road Caravans or your dealer in advance. Do not wait until just before the trip you are planning. We or your Approved Repairer/dealer may not be able to service your caravan immediately and/or the repair may require parts to be ordered in. The Service Department is busiest on Mondays, Fridays and of course before ALL the holidays both (school and public). Certain parts or repairs may require more time than expected due to supply chain or technical specialties.

➢  Prepare for the appointment. If you are having warranty work performed, be sure to have the right papers with you. Take your Owner’s Compendium and have your caravan information ready and available. All work to be performed may not be covered by the warranty (such as consumables or wear and tear items). Make sure you discuss additional charges with the Warranty Officer or Service personnel.

➢  Prepare a list if possible. Provide us or your Approved Service or Repair Agent with a written list of specific repairs needed. It is important that you also provide any caravan repair history to the Warranty Officer or the Service personnel.

➢  Keep an up-to-date maintenance log of your caravan’s service and maintenance history. This can often provide a clue to the current issue. For your convenience we have included a blank Maintenance Log Sheet in your Owner’s Compendium.

➢  Be reasonable with your requests. If you leave a list with several items and you need your caravan returned back by a specific date and time, discuss the situation with the Warranty Officer or service personnel and list your items in order of priority. This may include the need to make subsequent appointments for work not able to be completed or parts that may need to be ordered in.

➢  Do not expect a repair or warranty work can be done within a very short time frame even after agreed to by the Warranty Officer or service personnel. Often not enough information provided can result in complications that delay the repair. Furthermore, if new problems are not reported, found and/or cannot be fixed immediately, as a duty of care, we may ask for the caravan to remain at the dealership or service centre until rectified.

➢  Do not expect to look over the technician’s shoulder. Please do not be offended if you are told you cannot watch the work being done. Due to WorkSafe Regulations, Occupational Health and Safety and Insurance requirements etc it is forbidden for any customer admission into the service area.

➢  Inspect the service or repair job when you pick up your caravan. Notify the service personnel immediately of any dissatisfaction. If you cannot return the caravan immediately for repair or remedy, make an appointment as soon as possible. On the other hand, if you have had an exemplary experience with us and you are happy with the work carried out, please also tell our service personnel this as well. They all work very hard to bring excellence to their work!!!!
